The Lessons
The fee gives you unlimited access to the online lessons. There are no restrictions or timescales.
By the end of your first lesson you should be able to start writing simple words and sentences and have an understanding of the basic theory and how Teeline works. You should find that within a very short time and with consistent effort and practice you are writing confidently and accurately.
The number of dictations in each lesson will vary. We recommend that you do not rely on just our dictations and there are hints and ideas for additional practice so you can experiment and try out your Teeline when you are not working on the lessons.
At the end of each lesson there is an assignment consisting of three parts – which depending upon the membership level you sign up for you may be able to send to us so that we can mark your work, offer personal one to one feedback on ways to improve and answer questions you may have – usually by email.
Our Course is suitable for complete beginners and those who are wishing to refresh their skills. If you have done Teeline before, you can do the lessons in any order you wish and go back and revise as necessary.
Unlimited Access
Unlimited access means you can access the site as often and for as long as you wish. Unlimited time means you can use it as often as you wish. Even if you have completed the ten lessons, you can still come back and refresh any lessons at any time. You can complete the course at your own pace. We won’t hassle you or set you any deadlines. We understand that there may be a need to take a break from the Course and return at a later date and if that happens, we can offer suggestions of the best way to revise before moving on.
How long will it take?
There are ten lessons in total, including two that help you to consolidate the theory and concentrate on building speed with relevant dictations. We suggest working on the lessons for an hour a day, one lesson per week in order to start building speed, aiming to achieve a speed of 80wpm by the final lesson.
And of course - we are always available at the end of an email to help you and to answer any questions you may have. We are here to help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be, wherever in the world you may be.
