How Does it Work? 
Teeline OnLine means you can learn Teeline shorthand wherever and whenever you wish. Written by our own qualified Teeline Shorthand teacher (currently lecturing Teeline at a UK University for students undertaking Journalism) -to address the shortage of Teeline teachers/lecturers throughout the world, we can now offer you the opportunity to learn with us. We will take you through the stages of learning in easy steps – developing the theory and building up your speeds at your own pace and in your own time.
Each lesson consists of clear, concise explanations of the theory. From the first lesson you can start using Teeline and start building your speed. There are worksheets and exercises provided that you can print and use for practise. Recorded text for you to practise taking dictation.
All lessons can be undertaken on line or off line so you can do them where ever and when ever you wish. At the end of each section are assignments - more exercises to transcribe from longhand to Teeline and further dictations to test your speed. As part of the gold membership these can be corrected and assessed for you or you can request the transcriptions and mark your own, along with feedback on how your Teeline is progressing and ideas for improvement.
With just an hour of practise per day you could reach speeds of at least 80 wpm by the end of the Course. After that, you can expect to achieve 100 wpm with further practise.
