Teeline Outlines are easy to learn as they are just shortened version of the longhand alphabet – no confusing squiggles to decipher. Here is an example of the alphabet:

How Does it Work?
Teeline OnLine is a way you can learn Teeline shorthand wherever and whenever you wish. There is a shortage of Teeline Teachers and we are able to address that shortage by offering you the opportunity to learn with us. We will take you through the stages of learning in easy steps – developing the theory and building up your speeds at your own pace and in your own time.
In each lesson you will find clear, concise explanations of the theory. From the first lesson you can start building your speed. There are worksheets provided that you can print and use for practice. Recorded text for you to practice taking dictation.
All lessons can be undertaken on line or off line so you can do them where ever and when ever you wish.
At the end of each section are assignments - more exercises to transcribe from longhand to Teeline and dictations to test your speed. As part of the premium service these can be corrected and assessed for you or you can request the transcriptions and mark your own.
With just an hour of practice per day you can expect to reach speeds of at least 80 wpm by the end of the Course. After that, you can expect to achieve 10 wpm higher per week with the same amount of practice.
