Teeline OnLine is the result of a partnership between two women who have known each other for over 40 years.

Alison Berglas is a qualified shorthand teacher who trained originally with Pitman College gaining the Pitman Diploma in Teaching. She then went on to establish and run her own Secretarial College specialising in short, intensive courses including specially designed Teeline Courses. She has since had almost 20 years experience teaching Teeline and designing courses to suit many different people at home, in the office and in Colleges.  Alison has also written and published a Teeline course for home study which is currently being used by students as a correspondence course through Cheltenham Tutorial College in the United Kingdom and has had her work published by Heinemann. She is  currently lecturing in Teeline Shorthand at a University in the UK. Alison manages the lessons and the assignments at Teeline Online.

Her business partner Liz Cray has an experienced background in adult business skills development having trained managers throughout the UK and Europe. She produces fully integrated human resource processes which start with identifying competencies of each role - this then gives the foundations to develop a methodical, objective approach to the full process including interviewing, assessment centres, training and monitoring performance and appraisals. More recently she has been consulting businesses on improving their management development processes and administrative processes as well as administering websites for a number of organisations. Liz runs the administrative and side at Teeline Online.
